FREE & SAFE CIRCUMCISION
We now offer FREE and Safe Voluntary Male Medical Circumcisions (VMMC). The programme is funded by the Gauteng Provincial government at our facility or another of our managed sites in the City of Johannesburg. Please call to confirm if the programme is currently running.

Why Circumcise?

Circumcision reduces the rate of HIV/Aids infection by up to 60%.
It reduces the chances of being infected by HPV the virus that causes cervical cancer in female sexual partners
Reduces the risk of penile and prostate cancer

Training

The doctors and the nurses who assist during the procedure are all training and certified to provide VMMC.

The procedure

The procedure is safe and pain free and takes less than 20 minutes. Patients are able to go to work the same day, depending on the nature of their occupation.

At a Healthcubes facility or VMMC managed facility near you.

When can I do it?

Medical circumcisions can be performed safely throughout the year, including summer.

Counselling

We also offer FREE HIV counselling and testing (HCT or VCT) before the circumcision.
